The Official Usher Afterparty (Park MGM, Las Vegas)
In 2023, I was invited to spin the official afterparty for the Usher “My Way” Residency in Las Vegas at On The Record inside of the Park MGM.
The Backstory: From Vallejo to the Vinyl Parlor
It all started during the pandemic when I began sharing my record collection on social media from the small studio I decided to build in my backyard. Little did I know that my posts would catch the eye of none other than Usher himself! He followed me, sent a DM complimenting my record collection and eventually invited me to spin at his VIP Vinyl Parlor inside On The Record.
A Year of Residency and Beyond
After multiple successful nights during the residency in 2023, I caught the attention of Eddie Mac, owner of Mac Agency, and was added to their DJ roster alongside legends like DJ Pee Wee (Anderson Paak), Mayer Hawthorne, and The World Famous Beat Junkies. The experience has been nothing short of incredible, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to continue sharing my passion for music with a wider audience.
